SyFy Bartow 2022 is a science fiction-themed convention in Bartow, Florida on Saturday, February 19. The one-day event is at Main Street Bartow. The event describes itself as “comic con meets Renaissance fair on a Main street in a historic downtown in central Florida.”

Central Florida Comic Con was a celebration of comics, toys, TV, film, art, cosplay, games, and all things nerdy! It was be held at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, FL.

This Comic Con I counted as a success! I had so much fun. Honestly: this was my first comic con. Ever. I've wanted to go my whole life, and now I finally have, and I'll be back next year (already signed up to sell and sign books again!)

I shared a table with two other amazing local authors, signing and selling books!

On 2 November 2024, I participated in the Avon Park Charmed City Odyssey. It was so much fun!  We had over 500 visitors to see the vendors and for the various events. These included a neat bird show, a man in a giant, fuzzy, inflatable Kirby in the costume contest, and a video of Batman taking on Darth Vader, presented by one of the actors. I'll definitely be attending next year's.
